Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential customers, and setting appointments. Your goal will be to meet or exceed sales targets while providing excellent customer service. This position is for a setter not a closer.
This position promarily involves cold calling. You must be able to generate your own leads and follow up. This is not a position where you will be calling on warm leads.

We are an accounting firm offering bookkeeping, outsourced CFO, and tax services. We work primarily with business owners. Our firm is family focused and ensures a good work life balance for our employees. We are looking for someone that is willing to help us grow and wants to grow with us.
Duties:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals and share market insights
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using Hubspot
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions
Structure:
We are happy to have our sales reps work from home (or remotely wherever they would like) once training is complete and sales are being generated. We want to make sure our reps are set up for success and in a good position before they start remote work. We do not require a set schedule (although it must be reasonable with the schedules of our preferred clients).
The Pay:
This position is a 1099 contractor position. We pay a small weekly flat rate plus a generous commission. Commissions are not capped and we pay commission for the life of the client with our firm. That means if you sell a client who stays with us for 10 years you receive commission for that client all 10 years. This is a position that's pay will easily increase the longer you have been with our firm (we have a great customer retention rate).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B outside sales
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for business development
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Proficiency in using Hubspot is a plus
