Moody’s of Dayton, Inc. is a municipal and industrial Groundwater Supply Contractor. We drill and service high capacity, large diameter water supply wells. We supply and service high capacity water well and high service pumps. Our service area is Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Moody’s of Dayton, Inc. is in need of an entry level Project Manager/Sales Representative. In order to be able to understand day to day operations, effectively manage projects, and sell our services it is necessary to initially be able to work in the field with drilling crews. During the initial field work the candidate will learn the terminology, methods, equipment, tools, etc. of our business.
We have offices in Columbus and Dayton, OH with openings in both locations.

Job Description:
- Prepare estimates of job costs to prepare for bidding.
- Meet with clients to discuss existing and future projects.
- Provide supervision on job sites.
- Inspect hob sites for potential hazards, difficulties, and competitive advantages.
- Process successful bid contract. This includes but is not limited to, equipment submittals, safety plans, material purchasing, issuing of subcontracts, coordination with all involved parties, creation of final project lists, and O & M manuals.
- Create and maintain organized, profitable, and professional projects.
- Operate and maintain downhole video camera and hermit logging equipment.
- May be assigned special projects.
- Reports directly to sales manager, works closely with operations manager.
- Sell and promote products and services offered by Moody's of Dayton.
- Build and maintain client relations.
- Complete sales calls in all formats, phone, emails and in person.
- Complete written proposals, work orders, purchase orders, invoicing, reports, etc.
Hours of Work:
Full - Time, 40 Hours a week
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm
Due to the nature of work, there may be times, evening or weekend work is necessary. Travel is required, including some overnight stays, to complete sales calls and job site visits.
The ideal candidate would typically have a background/education as a civil engineer, agricultural engineer, construction management or geologist. The candidate would also need the ability to have problem solving skills, strong communication and marketing abilities, and the ability to work in the field with our service/drilling rigs. The qualified candidate would have daily interaction and communications with not only our employees but local engineers, water operators, city/business managers and leaders.
