These are growth oriented remote working positions with significant commission upside and a planned trajectory for internal development. Come join us!

This is a remote role with candidates located in the Phoenix, AZ, Nashville, TN, or Southern California areas.

Global Music Rights is a music rights management company focused on licensing, surveying and distributing public performance royalties to songwriters, composers and publishers. Global Music Rights represent some of the most accomplished artist and writers and represents them in the in the public performance licensing of their catalogs (e.g. Drake, Bruno Mars, Bruce Springsteen, The Eagles, Pharrell Williams, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Jon Bon Jovi and many more).

Global Music Rights is the first entrant into the U.S. performance rights marketplace in nearly 75 years. The company was founded in 2013 by industry veteran Irving Azoff, and Randy Grimmett, as an alternative to the traditional performance rights model. Global Music Rights serves an invitation-only client base, creating customized solutions in a rapidly evolving music rights marketplace and offering personalized service for music creators and music licensees. The company offers clients exceptional analytics and robust data solutions to ensure comprehensive royalty tracking and collection.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Global Music Rights (GMR), you will play a pivotal role in generating sales opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline. Serving as a liaison between prospects and sellers, your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation: Drive lead generation activities for the sales team by cultivating high-quality opportunities.
  • Outreach: Engage with prospective customers through both cold and warm outreach, utilizing calls, emails, and social media.
  • Identification: Act as the initial point of contact to identify key decision makers and influencers within prospective organizations.
  • Introduction and Qualification: Engage with prospects to introduce GMR, understand their business and music usage, and provide essential context on purchasing a license.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Qualify and develop leads from marketing campaigns, utilizing social media and other channels to identify potential customers' music usage during the sales process.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Arrange and schedule meetings with Licensing Directors to pitch and close deals.
  • CRM Management: Effectively manage all sales activities, notes, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce.com.
  • Pipeline Management: Efficiently manage the prospecting pipeline to ensure maximum efficiency and touchpoints per lead.
  • Sales Enablement: Follow sales scripts and leverage defined outreach cadences and sequences using sales engagement software such as Outreach.io.
  • Develop Sales Skills: Learn key sales skills to prepare successful SDRs to move into more senior sales roles at the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1+ years of prior experience in a professional work environment, with a preference for sales-related roles or heavy phone experience.
  • Strong phone and email skills, with the ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.
  • Proficient in navigating the internet and social media.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn, coupled with a highly coachable and flexible mindset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience working in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with Outreach.io and Salesforce.com.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The compensation for this position is $24 / hour + Commission, accompanied by an industry leading competitive benefits package and holiday schedule, and a remote working environment, with close team dynamics.
