Sales Development Account Executive

Climb Channel Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Account Executive, who is looking to develop and grow professionally in today’s challenging IT industry.

About the role
As a key member of the North American sales team, the Account Executive will work with one of our top software vendors who are leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant to deliver innovative and advanced solutions to our channel partners. The chosen individual will work closely with our Brand Sales Specialist, and inside and field sales teams to accelerate vendor sales growth and develop strategies and tactics to drive new business through our channel partners.
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and selling of SolarWinds products to new and existing customers.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition.
- Produce discovery meetings with prospects and customers to source and qualify opportunities that will be transitioned to sellers' sales to progress towards close
- Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer and pipeline records to sales leadership.
- Identify and develop new business through channel partners.
- Provide market feedback to include customer priorities and needs
About you
The desired candidates are those looking for a well-established company that encourages an

You will have a minimum of 1-2 years sales experience, a bachelor’s degree and authorized to work in the US. You will be proficient at communicating both written and verbal, with excellent organisational skills. You will have a strong desire to learn new skills, comfortable using the computer including Microsoft Office, and have excellent attention to detail.

Other experience and skills required are:
- A passion for selling
- Enthusiastic and “self-starter” approach
- Demonstrable record of sales success against quota
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working at a value-added reseller or distributor.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
Proficiency with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn.
