WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking an extremely organized sales associate to assist our sales teams in all aspects of the sales process. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and a passion for working with seniors and their families. A background in social services is a plus. Our goal is to obtain a 100% leased and occupied community and meet or exceed budgeted revenue. This role along with the rest of the sales team is responsible for helping to reach 100% leased and occupied community.
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION
Prospect Sales Responsibilities:
- Specialize in sales activities to assist the Community Relations team members in helping seniors and their support persons select the right next home for the senior(s), including but not limited to database management with scheduling tours, data entry in the system and pulling sales report data.
- Utilize the Senior Star Sales System to complete the sales process
- Conducts daily review of the leasing path and models apartments, assists with managing first impressions, places work orders and requests housekeeping as appropriate
- Lead the development of the Resident/Family/Associate/Friend Referral Program within the community.
- Document all sales, business development, and move-in coordination activities in the CRM within 24 hours of activity.
- Participate in the sales coverage rotation to provide 7-day per week sales coverage and as required to meet customer needs
- Participate in on site CR events
- Assist team at off site trade shows and marketing events. Conduct home visits for sales and move in coordination purposes; use Senior Star moving programs and tools
- Assist in maintaining inventory of sales collateral materials supply stock
- Assist in maintaining Top 10 Personal Touch inventory and assure items reflect those most appropriate, including shopping for these items and preparing them for presentation to new resident.
- Lead or assist in coordinating new residents’ move to the community upon receipt of deposit. If the move is to Health Services, assist in coordinating the assessment
- Special projects as assigned
- Works the date base in Welcome Home to make calls and schedule tours for the CR team members. Gets updates on cold leads. Schedules updates and next steps
- Leased prospects – Acts as a point of contact once they have leased. Liaison between resident and Interim/Legacy, works with the resident &/or family member to assist with scheduling movers, move in questions, taking measurements of the apt, home and hospital/rehab visits
- Responds to email inquiries and schedules a tour
- Serves as a back-up for tours and walk-ins
- Assists with completing activity advisories and materials for marketing events and 360 Program
- Ensures inventory of all sales and marketing materials
- Maintains personal touch inventory closet
- Manages internal transfers
Business Development Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of a strategic business development plan, review and adjust as needed to meet community occupancy needs
- Assist in developing and executing community marketing events
Senior Star is proud to be a fully vaccinated organization. All associates must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to starting. Senior star also requires annual Flu vaccination.
Work DAYS/Hours
Generally 5 days on and 2 days off; rotating weekends and various working hours to accommodate the coverage of our customer and community. There is afterhours work in returning emails and/or phone calls should a customer need immediate assistance.
