Day to day as a Marketing CoordinatorAre you a wizard at juggling multiple tasks and bringing creative ideas to life? As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be the mastermind behind social media campaigns, learn brand standards to design marketing materials and be at the center of the action by taking photos and videos at Girl Scout events. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns! With your keen eye for detail and strategic mindset, you'll help us reach new heights in empowering young girls to be leaders of tomorrow.
What you need to be successfulTo thrive in the role, you'll need to be flexible and organized. Whether you have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, English, or relevant fields, or 2 years of related experience, your background will set you up for success. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a must, with bonus points for video editing skills.
Your ability to work flexible hours, travel occasionally, and demonstrate a commitment to our mission will make you a valuable addition to our team.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graph Design, Communication, English or other related fields or 2 years of related experience
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Experience with video editing preferred
- Experience with writing copy for a variety of marketing venues
- Knowledge and understanding of printing specifications and process
- Ability to travel and work some evenings and weekends
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of the most current Microsoft applications and experience with customer relationship management systems or other data management systems
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation and proof of vehicle insurance
- Belief in and supports the mission of the Girl Scouts.
