The Opportunity

The Sales Compensation Manager role is responsible for the design, implementation and managing of various compensation plans that will attract, retain and incentivize our sales teams.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop compensation plans that are fair, competitive and aligned with the organization’s sales strategy and financial goals.
  • Plan implementation strategies of compensation plans and manage communication with the sales team.
  • Establish effective processes and systems for administering the plans.
  • Alter and revise plans based on market changes or new goals.
  • Establish performance metrics and track sale’s team performance against those metrics.
  • Analze data to evaluate the effectiveness of the compensation plans, identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for plan improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure that the sales team understands how the plans work and how they can maximize their earnings through the compensation structure, keeping sellers motivated.
  • Ensure that the compensation plans comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and make necessary adjustments to the plans to maintain compliance.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience working with various compensation plans
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills
  • Previous experience with Xactly administration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Adjusts and works efficiently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, environment.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in office in an open-concept, collaborative cubical setting or separate office. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.
