Full Job Description

As a member of our VABA headquarter team, your role as a Sales & Event Coordinator is to develop strong customer relationships while maximizing sales performance as a Sales Specialist. You will help provide exceptional experiences for each customer while developing your skills as a salesperson and teammate. They also assist with the day-to-day administration and operational tasks.

This role is a high value-added business partner to the sales department, enabling revenue growth and increasing sales productivity by providing effective methodologies, efficient processes, value-added information, and sales tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining sales data in several software programs
  • Providing sales presentations based on the features and benefits of our products, closing sales, and clienteling with existing customers.
  • Create and maintain relationships with current members in good standing.
  • Cultivating an in-depth knowledge of our products to provide the best experience possible for our customers.
  • Set up dashboards and reports to track sales operations and cross-functional efficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Providing new ideas and implementing strategies to increase the client base for the Sales Team.
  • Developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and Key Performance Indicators
  • Plan, propose, and execute new events to drive membership and increase brand awareness.
  • Assisting Director and other team members with operational needs.
  • Preparing & host quarterly Business seminar networking events
  • Creating and maintaining Sales Department policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource material
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training process of new Sales Representatives
  • Participating in and exemplifying our company culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior sales or customer-facing service experience required
  • Prior event coordination experience required
  • High performing and driven to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great listener… we need you to listen to each customer’s needs.
  • Great ability to provide and receive feedback from peers, supervisors, and customers and adapt behavior with coaching.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes.
  • A result and success-oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.
  • An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner.
  • An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources.
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Ability to maintain customer relationships in a changing economic environment.
  • Energetic team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Based on Experience. $60,000-$70,000 Base + Commission

The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this job description. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role.
