Position: Rooms Controller Supervisor
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Reports to: Front Office Manager
Status: non-exempt
Job Summary:
As a Rooms Controller Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently managing guest requests and ensuring seamless operations within the accommodation facilities. Utilizing our internal communication systems, such as Lightspeed and Marsha, you will navigate guest inquiries and facilitate room assignments based on preferences, VIP status, and internal/external requests. Administrative duties include pre-registering designated guests, coordinating group arrivals, managing room changes, confirming reservations, and maintaining accurate billing records. Your role will also involve ensuring adherence to market rates, addressing guest concerns, and maintaining daily reports to optimize service delivery.

- Represent the Autograph brand by embodying its values in guest interactions
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through efficient service delivery
Qualification Standards:
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience in reservations or front desk roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of Lightspeed and Marsha systems required
- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
- Proficiency in technology usage (e.g., tablets, iPads)
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Clear communication abilities
- Normal range of corrected vision
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed
- Ability to make quick, sound judgments
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Provide and receive direction within a team environment
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Perform effectively under pressure
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Demonstrate genuine appreciation for guests
- Collaborate with other departments as needed
- Foster positive working relationships and support common goals
- Comply with quality assurance standards
