Retail Customer Service Representative Summary:
As a Retail Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our retail location, creating the first impression that sets the tone for our customers' experience. Your role will involve being a liaison for customers throughout the entire process, from sales to delivery, installation, and service. Reporting to the Customer Engagement Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers feel valued and supported.
Position Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with all customers who enter the showroom
- Build rapport and gather customer information for customer walk-in reports
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately
- Ensure that all appliance displays are clean and tagged
- Create new product or sales tags when necessary
- Process payments for sales and parts orders
- Assist customers with parts and appliance pickup orders including model/serial verification and invoicing
- Complete customer confirmations for delivery, install and service
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Outgoing personality with exceptional Customer Service skills and can-do attitude
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Willingness to learn industry specific software system
- Ability to work flexible hours, including limited evenings and weekends
