Remote Patent + Trademark Paralegal

Fast Growing Intellectual Property Law Firm Seeking an Experienced Patent Paralegal

We are an intellectual property law firm seeking an ambitious self-starter to join our team. A great candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent phone communication, exceptional client service, and above-average computer skills. A minimum of 3 years of patent/intellectual property experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing foreign and domestic patent applications, statements of use, extensions of time, amendments to allege use, renewals, and other filings.
• Managing our docket of matters- assigning new matters to attorneys and reviewing docket daily to ensure matters are completed on schedule.
• Providing exceptional support to clients during business hours as needed.
• Maintain accurate and current client information within our files, database and filings to the PTO
• Additional responsibilities falling within the area of patent prosecution and litigation as assigned
• Assist attorneys with Copyright filings
• Communicating with clients, team and attorneys
• Conduct legal research
• Docketing

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of Patent or IP paralegal experience
• Above average computer and technical skills
• Strong phone communication skills
• Willingness to learn new software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
