Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering comprehensive Primary Care services to adult patients, with a commitment to promoting preventive care, managing chronic conditions, and addressing acute medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, or board eligible
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland or in process
- DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
- Open to 2024 residents, new grads encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in evidence-based medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Closed for lunch from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
- No evening or weekend hours
- After-hours call ranges from 1-2 calls per week
Patient Population:
- Adults 18+
- Expected patient load: Approximately 20 patients per day
