We are seeking a skilled and bilingual Office Coordinatorwith construction experience to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our project procurement process by sourcing subcontractors, managing bid documents, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent communication skills in both English and [insert second language], and a proven ability to coordinate bids effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Source and qualify vendors and subcontractors for upcoming projects
- Coordinate bid documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Communicate bid requirements and deadlines to vendors and subcontractors and internal teams
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including compiling and organizing bid packages
- Follow up with vendor and subcontractors to ensure timely submission of bids and proposals
- Translate documents and facilitate communication between English-speaking and Spanish speaking stakeholders
- Assist in other administrative tasks related to the bid process as needed
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a bidding or procurement role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
