The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Loan Closer to facilitate Visio's loan closing process and ensure everything is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
You will contribute to the Closing department by:
- Serving as a liaison for all loan closings and providing top-notch customer service with extreme attention to detail
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed, signed, and filed correctly in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Contacting borrowers, brokers, title companies, attorneys, and sales agents via phone and email as needed to conduct business (scheduling, HUD approvals, closing assistance)
- Preparing mortgage notes and other closing documents
- Reviewing of title commitments, purchase contracts, tax certifications, and HUDs/ALTA Statements
- Reviewing and approving signed loan documents
- Issuing funding numbers to title
- Clearing all closing checklist items and ordering funds from the lender
- Disbursing closed documents to the servicer
- Checking requests and fund disbursements as necessary
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Completing assigned reporting as needed
- Completing projects and duties as assigned based on business needs
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
- Available Remote Locations: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KY, LA, MO, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
- Salary Range: $22.50 - $23.50/hr. (Non-Exempt/Hourly/Eligible for Overtime)
What We Are Looking For
- Someone with 3 years of relevant loan closing or processing experience
- Someone with a High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent
- Someone who is a motivated self-starter, organized, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude
- Someone with knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
- Someone with attention to detail & accuracy
- Someone with the ability to handle a pipeline and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who is proactive and can work independently
- Someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- For Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant who does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member of the hiring department prior to extending a job offer.
What We Prefer to Find:
- Someone with 3 years of experience with Mortgage LOS (Calyx Point, Encompass, or other applicable software)
- Someone with a bachelor’s degree in a related field
