Job DescriptionA school district in Peyton, CO seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for the current academic year. As an Occupational Therapist, you will help students develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure that students receive the support they need
- Will have a COTA for assistance
- K-12 caseload
- ASD, SLD, OHI disability types
- 70 students
- August 2024 to June 2025 with potential to renew
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid OT state license or certification to practice Occupational Therapy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
