Regional Technical Assistance Coordinator

About the Role:

As a Technical Assistance Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our initiative to empower communities nationwide in driving environmental and climate justice projects. You'll not only provide hands-on Technical Assistance but also oversee and coordinate Technical Assistance Providers to ensure communities receive the support they need. Your dedication will be instrumental in guiding communities through the grant application process and advocating for equitable access to resources.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Assistance Coordination:
  • Develop and customize pre-award and post-award Technical Assistance programs tailored to the specific needs of communities applying for EPA's community change grants.
  • Help to recruit and manage Technical Assistance providers and community-based organizations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Establish and oversee Technical Assistance success criteria, monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes.
• Community Support:
  • Forge strong relationships with communities applying for grants, offering continuous support and guidance throughout the application process.
  • Understand and address the unique challenges and circumstances faced by each community, demonstrating empathy and adaptability.
• Capacity Building:
  • Champion community voices and ideas, recognizing their potential for innovation and resilience.
• Strategic Problem-Solving:
  • Navigate complex project landscapes with a blend of practicality and intelligence, tackling challenges and seizing opportunities effectively.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to design projects that tackle environmental justice issues and promote equity.
• Integrity and Reliability:
