The Role and the Company
The Regional Human Resources Generalist role is based in either Greenville, SC or Raleigh, NC and reports directly to the Southeast Region HR Director. We are looking for a dynamic, engaging, and self-driven human resources professional to join our growing Southeast Region team.

Here's what you'll get to do:
- Administer and manage Regional HR Projects and Programs
- Become proficient on all company policies and provide guidance and interpretation to all levels of management on company policies including progressive discipline
- Support Region HR Managers with Employee Relations issues and investigations
- Manage processes in Workday and JDE systems to support annual benefits enrollment, salary increases, and other personnel change transactions
- Drive the hiring process in HR Systems for both salaried and hourly positions, including but not limited to posting positions, sourcing candidates, and onboarding new hires
- Track Regional development program for identified potential succession candidates for key roles
- Support management and plant administrators on HR systems, policies, and processes
- Assist with regional training and development program initiatives
- Ensure company and leader compliance with federal and state employment law, as well as Company policies and standard operating procedures
- Coach and counsel both salaried and hourly employees to enhance engagement, retention, and productivity, and mitigate financial and operational risk
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Company guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
- At least 5 years of HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or associate's degree plus 5 or more years of HR experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong ability to work independently and collaborate with a group
- Skilled at adapting to project constraints and resolving problems
- Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of employment law and recruiting/staffing
- Knowledge of Labor Relations/Collective bargaining/Union Avoidance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and systems
- Willingness to travel

Work Environment
- Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
