JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist aids with and facilitates human resource processes. Active in core HR disciplines such as recruiting, time and attendance, onboarding, and performance management. Provides administrative support to the Human Resources function as needed, including record-keeping and file maintenance.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
The following are some of the principal job functions; however, other duties and activities may be required in performance of this job:
Recruits, interviews, and onboards new employees.
Assists in the administration of health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Assists employees with questions related to company policies, benefits, and timekeeping.
Assists with employee meetings, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Maintains employee personnel, medical, and training files.
Reviews weekly timesheets and prepares timekeeping reports as necessary.
Responsible for worker's compensation recordkeeping and reporting.
Assists with audits and compliance of HR processes.
Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the Supervisor.

Lifting to 25 lbs. with no restrictions

Vision, with or without correction, must be adequate to perform the required job functions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years related experience required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Employee may experience prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computers.
