Redemption Operations Mechanical Engineer

Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.
Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer at CLYNK, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components for our cutting-edge recycling solutions. You will work in a collaborative and cross-functional team to contribute to the advancement of our technology and ensure the seamless operation of our recycling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize mechanical components and systems for CLYNK's recycling infrastructure, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Create prototypes for new mechanical designs and conduct rigorous testing to validate performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into the overall CLYNK solution.
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvements, and actively participate in the enhancement of existing systems.
• Create detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and manuals, to ensure clarity in communication and future reference.
• Stay informed about relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications, and ensure that mechanical systems comply with these requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during the development, testing, or deployment phases.
• Design of existing processing facilities and future new locations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and testing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, Fusion360 software for 3D modeling and design. Coding experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively.
• Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication techniques.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
