Description:
SmartStart Education is seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead a team of academic staff recruiters. As part of the Human Resources Team, they will develop and implement a strategy to successfully recruit, evaluate, screen, and hire exceptional tutors, long-term substitutes, deans, and academic support staff for our partner schools throughout the United States.
Qualified Candidates will successfully be able to:
Search and identify highly qualified candidates using proactive sourcing and recruiting strategies
Generate and promote interest in SmartStart Education and its vacancies by actively building a talent pool and healthy pipeline of candidates
Attend all administrative meetings as necessary
Manage the Talent Acquisition Team
Track hiring data and make data-driven decisions accordingly
Ability to meet strict and short deadlines successfully
Ability to work under pressure and in a remote environment successfully
Manage SmartStart’s ATS
Reach out to both passive and active candidates
Knowledge of relevant job boards, platforms, social media, and other online channels
Be available during the day, some evenings, and weekends as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Hold a minimum bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or a minimum of 5 years' experience
Understand the needs of urban students, schools, and communities including racial disparity, socio-economic disparity, and cultural disparity
Show a passion and commitment to the success of students
Punctual
Reliable
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Exceptional time management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Proficient in Excel, Teams, Office 365, Zoom, Calendly, and ATS
Ability to work independently and asynchronously with little direction
Confidently make quick decisions
Work collaboratively
Experience working in a fully remote and virtual environment
Proven sourcing and recruiting experience
Committed to work until the job is done
***Flexible availability with the expectation of holding hours during the day, evenings, and weekends as necessary

Participate in a Zoom interview with a specialized talent acquisition coordinator who will assess your suitability for the role.

Responsively reply to any extended offer in a timely manner, indicating your acceptance or need for further clarification.
Complete all onboarding tasks promptly, which may include tasks such as accessing email accounts, providing fingerprints for security purposes, uploading personal information, and completing any required training, as specified.
By meticulously following these steps in a prompt and professional manner, you will contribute to a streamlined and efficient hiring process.
Pay-$60,000 to $70,000 plus bonus based on team performance recruiting and hiring qualified candidates on time.
