Equitable Advisors Wealth Management is seeking a Team Lead Director of National Recruiting to drive the strategy and execution of the National Team responsible for supporting Field Leaders across the country in their shared goal to recruit more than 800 Financial Professionals from diverse backgrounds, specializing in Career Starter and Career Changer markets. This position can be Remote working from home office with travel two or more times per month (25% travel).

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Design and drive a strategic roadmap focused on segments/markets, including but not limited to warm recruiting, women, career starters and career changers, with significant Field partnership.
  • Build strong relationships and buy-in from over 200 geographically dispersed Leaders to ensure strategy aligns with what the Field needs.
  • Ability to understand how to recruit in target markets such as Woman to transform how we attract candidates to drive substantial shift in results.
  • Coach, develop and facilitate best practice sharing among eight Complex Field Recruiters.
  • Enhance recruiting lead flow utilizing recruiting platform, tools and systems.
  • Identify and optimize cold-sourcing tools.
  • Ability to review, understand and track recruiting contract SLAs and termination dates.
  • Facilitate in negotiation of contracts advocating for business-driven outcomes and needs while maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Train new leaders on the recruiting process and ensure mastery of our value proposition.
  • Partner with Advisor Journey area to align recruiting priorities with training curriculum and exam preparation for career starter Advisors.
  • Lead the overhaul of our recruiting library, collaborating closely with Marketing on value proposition and messaging to deliver highly utilized assets and playbooks.
  • Leverage data to drive decision making, providing key insights on where we are winning and opportunity areas.
  • Present strategy and progress on a monthly basis and at key in-person events.

Agile experience

  • Deep experience leading with teams in an agile setting
  • Experience in facilitating agile ceremonies, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, negotiation and designing recruiting strategy
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting within the financial services industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 24, strongly desired
  • Experience recruiting for the financial services or insurance industries, a big plus
  • Excited and willing to travel 2-3 times per month, both to industry events and local branches
  • Experience with setting the strategy, implementation and change management plans for complex projects/processes
  • Understanding and knowledge of industry trends to support an efficient recruiting process
  • Proven successful collaboration with cross-functional teams from key stakeholders, Marketing, Field Leadership, legal and compliance
  • Ability to operate in a challenging and fast-paced team environment
  • Proven experience with influencing change though leveraging agile, adaptive leadership models and change management
  • Exceptional verbal, written communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
  • Success in problem solving with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Practical understanding of data and its applications to enhance decision making and generate productivity and efficiencies
  • Ability to facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching
  • Ability to drive the adaption of NWOW / Agile practices and conduct Ceremonies: daily huddle, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint demo
