JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic Leader to join our team at Chick-fil-A. This “hands-on” Recruiting Coordinator opportunity is designed to give you a career in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation while providing a clear roadmap for your professional growth and development. The Recruiting Coordinator will be working directly with the HR Director to ensure an exceptional Hiring Process. Through various goals and initiatives, this position would give you the opportunity to make a huge impact on overall success of the restaurant.


Ownership of the Following Recruiting Components:

● Goal Setting & Follow-through

● Team Member Recruiting through HigherMe

o Posting Job Requisitions

o Reviewing applications, and completing phone screening interviews

o Completing 1st round face to face interviews and giving a recommendation to the HR Director

● Coordinating all Onboarding steps, ensuring compliance

● Hosting Orientation (in English and Spanish)

● Maintenance of online Employee Directory

● Drafting and updating Job Descriptions when needed

Recruiting Coordinator Expectations: (Not an exhaustive list)

  • Exhibit a passion for Recruiting and an excitement for Chick-fil-A.
  • Attend Quarterly Leadership Team Meetings to ensure the team remains consistent, and up to date on Restaurant Performance, upcoming events and any changes in operations.
  • Ensure you know and adhere to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Partner with the HR Director to ensure staffing par levels are up to date based on business needs.
  • Review and maintain HigherMe Applicant Tracking System daily ensuring quality candidates are contacted within 2-3 business days.
  • Perform phone interviews to screen Team Member candidates and schedule face to face interviews.
  • Perform phone interviews to screen Leadership Candidates and schedule face to face interviews with the HR Director.
  • Utilize Interview Guides for all positions, creating new guides as positions are developed.
  • Monitor and update Interviews board on Monday.com
  • Serve all guests in a manner that leaves them happier when they leave than they were when they arrived.
  • Utilize HotSchedules, Slack, VSBL, CFA Home, monday.com, and Pathway to ensure you are aware of any necessary communication, changes in procedures, goals for your shift, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team and be willing to serve in any capacity, always prioritizing the Guest Experience.
  • Utilize Effective Requests to ensure smooth communication within the team.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Chick-fil-A processes and procedures. Show an eagerness to learn and grow daily, always pursuing excellence.
  • Know all Pathway based procedures and be willing to go back and review any issues that arise to uphold the standards of CFA Eldorado & Ridge.
  • Ensure all assigned Pathway Training is completed prior to the due date given.


Background Profile

  • 2 years of Leadership experience
  • Recruiting experience (required)
  • Restaurant experience (preferred)

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience as a leader in a customer service and/or production environment.
  • Proven ability to lead in quick paced environments as part of a team.
  • Basic computer competency.
  • Communicates employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Leadership Team.
  • Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate restaurant staffing levels.
  • Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect.
  • Serves as subject matter expert to leadership for ongoing recruiting efforts.
  • Achieve strategic, annual business results through focus and action on tactical monthly and quarterly objectives and tasks.
  • Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the restaurant.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of interview best practices and employment law.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) strongly preferred.
