Football Recruiting Operations Coordinator

Organization
Provide operational support and assistance to the Director of Recruiting Strategy. Manage all the operational aspects of the recruiting department, manage and develop the Recruiting Operations calendar and related correspondence to prospective student athletes in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Oklahoma Football.Essential Functions:

Plan and develop a 12-month Recruiting Operations calendarExecute all operational demands contained within the 12-month Recruiting Operations calendarPlan and develop all prospect correspondence and graphic mailing consistent with the department, university, conference, and NCAA guidelinesAssist with planning and monitoring coaches recruiting travel and travel related expenses.Other duties as assigned by the Director of Recruiting Strategy

Job Location
Required Education: A Bachelor’s degree, AND:  

• 12 months of experience in related field.

Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, staff, and administratorsAbility to work under pressure to manage and coordinate multiple projects and requests and meet competing deadlinesMust have a comprehensive understanding of collegiate athletic programs and operation unitsKnowledge of and commitment to comply with NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulationsKnowledge of recruiting management systemProficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint)Highly organized and detail-oriented

Ability and willingness to work long and odd hours, often weekends and potentially holidays during variety of events and camps/clinicsMust be able to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel
