We are specialized in airway health and our daily schedule consists of orthodontics, tongue-tie releases, and some general dentistry. Prefer candidates with Customer service and sales experience.
Great people skills. Close commute to the office is preferred. Must be comfortable with technology and learning new softwares.
Need to feel comfortable managing phone calls, text messages, and emails.
Office hours:
Mon and Thurs 7am-3pm
Tues and Wed 10am- 6pm
General Purpose:
Attend to patients on the phone and in person. Coordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office. Main Job Tasks,
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet patients
- Register new patients according to established office protocols
- Feel comfortable asking patients for reviews and look for social media post opportunities during the day
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
-Verify and update patient information
-Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
-Move patients through appointments as scheduled
-Enter all relevant patient information into data system
-Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
-Answer and manage incoming calls, emails and text messages
-Respond and comply to requests for information
-Schedule patient appointments
-Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
-Check daily appointment schedule
-Fill in cancellations and no-shows
-Organize referrals to other medical specialists
-Collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment
-Inform patients of financial treatment plan options
-Send insurance claims
-Arrange supporting documents for insurance claims
-Manage incoming emails and texts
-Maintain a professional reception and waiting areas
-Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
Education and Experience:
-Dental experience not required but preferred
-Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis preferred
-Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications required. MUST feel very comfortable with technology and learning new softwares
-Working knowledge of dental insurance will be a plus but not required
-Experience in customer service and sales will be preferred
