Busy Physician Office Seeks Fulltime Front office assistant.
***Must have medical office experience.***
Essential Functions:
1) Must possess a professional and outgoing personality.
2) Will greet patients upon arrival and collect payments.
3) Update patient information.
4) Assists with incoming phone calls.
5) Schedule/Change patient appointments.
6) Assists with medication authorizations.
7) Checks prescription messages and pulls charts for calling pharmacies.
8) Verify insurance
9) Will assist in posting charges
10) Other duties as assigned.
We seek an articulate, cheerful, customer focused individual who enjoys the challenge of a busy desk. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task, have a clear, friendly telephone manner, be team oriented and be able to work with minimal supervision. A minimum of one year of physician practice Front Office experience is desirable.
