The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative and clerical support to the Boston brokerage teams and corporate teams as needed. This is an on-site role in our Boston headquarters.
Your Impact:
- Greet and direct clients and other visitors to the company in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate employee. Distribute messages as needed
- Receive, sort and forward incoming mail and faxes and publication.
- Prepare and apply postage to all outgoing mail, coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Maintains an orderly reception area
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization (including, general up keep in the suite and overall maintenance of all office equipment)
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Associates degree (good performance in any field of study) preferred; and one to three years of related experience in a Receptionist/Administrative role
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to operate and manage a phone system
- Ability to establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and clients with solid interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between 21.65/hr - 26.45/hr. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
