Job description

Are you a person who is passionate about holistic medicine? Then this is the job for you! I am Dr. Janelle Mackowiak, and I am looking for a friendly, outgoing, self-starter to join my growing practice at Cherry Blossom Natural Wellness.

As a receptionist/ administrative assistant, you will be the first face a patient greets and the first voice they hear on the phone. First impressions are key – you will directly assist in giving patients a positive experience at our practice. You must LOVE people and have a positive attitude.

Your duties would include:

  • Communicating with patients via phone and email
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Collecting and posting payments
  • Be familiar with Electronic Record Keeping
  • Bookkeeping duties, including QuickBooks
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Entering lab requisitions and following up with labs
  • Assisting with social media
  • Creating procedure and policy manual
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Setting up discovery phone calls with potential patients

Our practice serves a wide array of patients in 4 locations in Metro Detroit. You would be required to work in the Oxford and Utica locations (about 30 minutes apart) two days a week with potential for growth. There will be some hours you can work remotely from home as well. Currently hiring to fill 25-30 hours per week, with room to grow.

Salary: $17-20 per hour

Education:

· High school or equivalent

Experience:
