Job Description
Tom Ferry is the #1 coaching company in real estate. Our mission is to raise the standards by creating success. That means we are super focused on supporting our members, employees and partners to set big goals and do whatever it takes to achieve them. Of course we are there every step of the way. As the receptionist at TomFerry you are the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, clients and coaches. We’re a fast-growing company that requires all kinds of coordination on all fronts to keep the ship running smoothly so you will not only do the normal tasks that you are used to including providing Data Entry support for our Business Development Team, but you will also have the opportunity to take on as much support and assistance work as there is time in your schedule. You are:
- Professional. This is an exciting and fun place to work, but we’re also a serious business with a lot of moving parts. You’ll want to be certain that you partner with the Executives, Human Resources and other members of the office staff so that you know who’s expecting whom and when.
- Efficient and Highly Organized. Extra duties and assignments may take you away from the reception area. You will have systems in place so that information is accessible and retrievable, if you are not at your desk.
- Fanatical about detail and getting it right. Everyone makes mistakes, but the expectation is that you’ll learn from them. Mistakes are distracting and take time to correct and time is money.
- Eager to learn. You are the Receptionist now, but you are eager to find out how things work, who has answers, who is doing what and where. We would like to think that this position is a stepping stone for you.
- Comfortable with go-fer tasks, i.e. getting coffee, ordering and running for lunch, making lunch reservations, and stocking/ordering office and lunchroom supplies.
Compensation for this role is $18/hr plus paid sick leave.
- Attire is business/smart casual
- Work hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday - Wednesday)
