We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional receptionist to join our Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff and should possess excellent communication and customer service skills. The receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Answer phone calls, screen and direct calls to the appropriate person.
3. Schedule appointments for patients and maintain the appointment calendar.
4. Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
5. Collect co-payments and fees from patients.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
7. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
8. Coordinate communication between patients, clinicians, and other staff members.
9. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
10. Handle any patient inquiries or concerns with empathy and professionalism.
11. Assist with insurance verification and billing as needed.
12. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow and customer service.
