```Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, direct calls to appropriate individuals, and take messages when necessary
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Assist with order entry and inventory management as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide general administrative support to staff members as requested
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Strong knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience as a medical receptionist is a plus
