Receptionist

Job Summary:

Newly Weds Foods provides premium ingredients to some of the biggest brand names in the country! We have a receptionist position open in our Watertown Plant just outside of Boston. The Receptionist is responsible for answering the phone, greeting visitors and job candidates, and scheduling the Main Conference Room. The receptionist also helps ensure that the customer service and purchasing departments are functioning at a high level by providing support to both of these units.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare lobby area for the day; unlock main entrance doors, organize available reading material, manage the visitor register and badges.
• Answer phones and connect caller to correct extension or department as necessary.
• Greet visitors; ensure visitor sign in, present badge and inform employee of their visitor.
• Train relief operators.
• Assist with company mailings by sorting and stuffing envelopes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively cross-functionally.
• Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires 1-3 years of experience working in an admin support role
• Strong communication, analytical abilities, organizational skills knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft 0ffice and Lotus Notes is a plus!
• Background in a manufacturing system preferred.

Work Environment:

• General office setting working from 8-4:30 every day
