```Duties```
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Review scheduled appointments and calendars
- Perform data entry, transcribe documents, and type correspondence
- Manage office documents filing system and database structure
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles .
- Proficency in all Microsoft applications required.
- Knowledge of basic office procedures is a plus
- Proficient in data entry and typing skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - - Basic Knowledge of the fire & life safety industry a plus
