Receptionist

Alliance is the largest exclusive air emissions stack testing services company in the United States. Alliance Emissions Monitoring (AEM) is our Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) division. Alliance Technical Group is filling a receptionist position for the Lake Charles, LA area. This position is going to start off at $18/hr but could be more DOE. Responsibilities for the receptionist position is as follows:

• Answers the phone, greets visitors, and directs phone inquiries and customers to proper ATG personnel
• Provides shipping/mail support; receives packages and delivers them to appropriate personnel; prints and orders shipping materials as needed
• Orders supplies and keeps supply closet organized
• Processes purchase orders and contacts managers when orders are ready for pick up or ships them to site
• Informs managers when uniforms are ready for pickup and updates tracking spreadsheet
• Tracks and sends out employment anniversary gifts; maintains sufficient items in supply
• Supports other offices with administrative assistance as needed
• Creates ID badges for office access as required
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED; some vocational/technical/business school preferred
• 1-3+ years of administrative procedures experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite, including MS Word, Teams, and Outlook
• Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks with little supervision/oversight
• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to multi-task and learn new skills as needed
• Team focus; ability to support multiple departments

• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
