The Long Products Division, Steel of West Virginia is expanding and adding positions across the Division. There is an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk.

Responsibilities:

· Greet visitors to Steel of West Virginia and connect them with Steel of West Virginia personnel

· Assist employees with their questions, including assisting them with insurance forms, and getting them to people who can help them with employment, insurance, and retirement questions

· Assist with employee uniforms, including working with uniform provider to get employees their uniforms and addressing uniform issues experienced by employees

· Answer and route phone calls

· Sort and separate checks by department and distribute to supervisors

· Execute mailings to Company employees

· Assist with check runs (sorting and matching)

· Open and distribute incoming mail to departments

· Prepare packets of forms and policies for new hires

· Schedule conference rooms

· Order food for Company events

Requirements:

· Be a people person who can be pleasant and personable with a variety of people

· Must be detail-oriented

· Ability to multi-task is a must

· Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening

· Self-motivated and self-directed

· Proactive problem solving

· Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Pay: $28,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
