A Receptionist job in Gulf Breeze, FL is currently accepting applications. This is a contract-to-hire position with our key aerospace client. In this role, you will be the face of the company and acts as the first contact with customers whether it's over the phone or while on-site. The receptionist plays a vital role as the backbone support role for the site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Possess dynamic thinking, team player attitude that takes pride in your work
* Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
* Notifies off-site Facility Security Officer (FSO) when foreign visitors are present
* Directs visitors and employees to the right staff member
* Process all on-site visitors by following security check-in process to include verification of citizenship documents
* Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring sign in/out logbook; issuing visitor/temporary visitor badges
* Ensures all badges are tracked and accounted for
* Provide administrative support to multiple departments as needed
* Organize internal and external meetings including team events, making all necessary arrangements including calendar coordination, booking rooms and arranging catering
* Assist with team member on-boarding and off-boarding, which may include requesting equipment setup and system access
* Receive incoming mail and packages, distributing them to appropriate departments
* Produce high quality emails and messages to individuals at all levels of the organization
* Provide a variety of administrative support to the site as needed
* Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred
* Minimum of 2 years professional office administrative experience required; ideally supporting a multi-leader organization
* Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to manage competing priorities
* Experience with making travel arrangements is required and experience coordinating on/offsite meetings is preferred
* Strong working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including table creation, mail merges and basic formatting
