Position Description:
Martin Calibration is looking for a candidate to perform the receiving duties at our Burnsville, MN headquarters. In this position, you will be responsible for unpacking and entering in Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) equipment sent from customers into our calibration database. You will support your supervisor and fellow employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive materials. You will also be responsible for handling customer requests and needs.
Work will be performed at corporate facility in Burnsville, MN.
Position Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack and verify accuracy of items sent in.
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Confirm proper lab for equipment.
- Ensure receiving area organization and cleanliness.
- Comply with all quality standards and policies.
- Communicate with customers professionally via email, phone, and in person.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Maintain a professional/ courteous bearing with all interfaces with customers, both internal/external customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area - this includes cleaning/maintaining equipment and work areas and performing safety inspection of areas.
- Assisting the shipping department as necessary.
