Responsibilities of the Receiving Clerk:
- Receivers are responsible for the receipt, identification and inspection of procured products:
- Verifies shipment received against carriers BOL that shipment is for the hospital and unloads truck.
- Visually inspects items received against suppliers packing list to verify part number, description, quantity and condition of procured item
- Notates non-conformance such as damage, incorrect parts, or otherwise unsuitable for use.
- Reports non-conformance issues to procurement department.
- Receives purchase orders in computer system.
- Prepares and stages received product for put away or order fulfillment.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Qualifications:
- 1 year of previous Warehouse experience preferred.
- Prior computer experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Data entry skills, organization, and multi-tasking is required.
- Strong attention to detail and packaging methods.
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
