Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for estimating and managing costs related to construction projects. Your expertise in cost control, negotiation, and project management will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Duties:
- Conducting feasibility studies to assess potential construction projects
- Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Negotiating and procuring contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring project costs and implementing cost control measures
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure project objectives are met within budget
- Reviewing and analyzing construction drawings and specifications
- Conducting site visits to assess progress and identify any potential issues
- Providing advice on value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs
- Managing variations and change orders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, cost control, and contract management
- Proficiency in relevant software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $2,000.00 - $2,666.00 per month
