Job Description
The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, tests, and quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process to meet and maintain high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards in small device manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform visual and dimensional inspections of small devices at various stages of production.
-Conduct functional and performance tests to verify product specifications are met.
-Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and deviations from quality standards.
-Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
-Maintain accurate records of quality data and inspection results.
-Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
-Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality control documentation and procedures.
Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control role is required.
-Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
-Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and work orders.
-Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and precision.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
-Basic knowledge of the company's products and terminology will be a plus.
-Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying objects up to a certain weight limit.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
-Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.
