Overview: We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. Duties: - Perform Auto Body repairs, including welding, sanding, and painting - Repair and replace damaged parts, such as fenders, doors, and bumpers - Straighten bent frames and panels - Remove dents and dings using specialized tools - Perform auto glass repairs and replacements - Conduct auto estimating for repair costs - Collaborate with mechanics to ensure proper mechanical repairs are completed - Use power tools and equipment to complete repairs - Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of Auto Body repair techniques and tools - Proficient in welding and sheet metal work - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Familiarity with auto restoration processes is a plus - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Customer service-oriented with good communication skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
