Job Description
We're partnering with a leading manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products to customers located in Nashua, NH. The Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and control processes in our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. They will lead a team of quality inspectors and technicians, implementing and maintaining quality systems, procedures, and metrics to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements
- Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements
- Analyze quality data and metrics to monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for optimization
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure alignment on quality standards and requirements
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization, promoting awareness and accountability at all levels
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in quality management, incorporating new methodologies and technologies as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry in management position
- Proven track record of implementing quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising a team of quality professionals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of quality management standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing)
- Experience with quality management tools and software applications (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Quality Management Systems)
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus
Compensation for this position is commensurate with relatable work experience and education. The comepensation range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000 depending on experience levels.
