Nelson Engineering Co. is an established manufacturing company specializing in machined and fabricated aerospace components.
This position is for a Quality Systems Manager who will work directly with the Quality Manager to maintain company & industry standard quality systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues
- Lead and manage quality improvement projects
- Train and educate employees on quality standards and procedures
- Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in quality management or a related role
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of quality management systems and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, AS9100, NADCAP)
- Effective communication and leadership skills
