We are seeking a creative and multi-faceted BCBA to join a unique and dynamic opportunity. As an LBA at TLE, you will play a crucial role in designing and guiding the directive implementation of behavior intervention plans for individuals diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder): Your ability to cater to individualism and draw on all aspects of your knowledge in order to combine science and art would be a key component to your success within this program.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavior concerns and develop individual treatment plans based on ABA principles.
- Provide supervision and training in support of staff and parent/guardian/caregivers; and be apt to model and/or modify techniques in order to obtain the ultimate treatment goals designed per client/patients. Have the ability to provide unconfined* guidance and direction in determinative care.
- Keep parent/guardians informed of the procedures to ensure transitional from the facility to home
- Keep up with current relevant ABA research for up to date procedures and potential ground-breaking research methods that could be applied to client/patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior plans through data collection and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, assessments and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid current licensure as an LBA
- Masters Degree in Psychology or related field.
- A minimum of 2 year experience working in the field of individuals with behavioral challenges
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as apart of a collaborative team
- Ability to travel to site predominately providing in-person intervention
Requirements:
- Completion of required continuing education to maintain licensure.
- Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BaCB)
