Quality Assurance Specialist (Shipbuilding)

You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (SHIPBUILDING) in the Quality Assurance Manager (Code 900Q), Production Department Analysis & Business Manager (Code 900A), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Experience in investigative and analysis methods and techniques to conduct effective audits/investigations of shipyard programs, processes and products and analyze results on a cumulative basis to identify quality trends.
• Experience interpreting drawings, plans, specifications, job orders and other documents used by the Production Resources Department-Shops.
• Experience in developing and implementing an effective, economical shipyard QUALITY ASSURANCE program by using QUALITY ASSURANCE concepts, principles and methodology .
