Job Description
Technical Staffing Resources is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control resource to work with one of the largest EPC firms in the country. This is a long term, contract position located in Richmond, VA area. Working with capital project teams, the QA/QC Resource is accountable to the Project Team Leaders and Site Engineering Manager for ensuring the adherence to quality requirements capital project implementation, especially with respect to Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist capital project teams in generating a clearly defined list of quality requirements to be implemented for each project.
- ·Verify that satisfactory quality requirement data is provided during Front End Loading (FEL) to allow developing the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Project Quality Plans and Equipment Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including auditing work processes and deliverables for compliance, and for meeting agreed upon project quality requirements and expectations. This is particularly important for PSM Critical Equipment\Participate in routine meetings to report on overall Quality Assurance status to project leadership. Include a concise review of the current status of the QC documentation received vs. expected and support follow-up efforts to address any issues identified during the reviews.
- Conduct quality inspections on an as-needed requirement both on-site and at local suppliers per the Project Quality Plan and Equipment Inspection and Test Plans.
- Ensure that all required PSM documentation is delivered to the Capital Project Team Leader and the owner of the appropriate Blueprint file, especially for PSM Critical Equipment.
Qualifications
- AWS-CWI Certification\
- Required: >2 years relevant industrial experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control functions
