Description: Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow, a leading community Mental Health provider in Richmond, VA, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of QMHP-C in our Intensive In-Home Program. This position focuses on delivering in-home therapeutic interventions to at-risk youth, aiming to prevent out-of-home placement. Candidates may also have opportunities to work in Mental Health Skill-Building or Crisis Stabilization programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home therapeutic interventions to youth at risk of out-of-home placement.
Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' Mental Health needs and progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes.
Coordinate with other service providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements:
- QMHP-C registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a Mental Health setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours as needed.
