James Bentley Treatment Program is looking for a Professional in the Tidewater area to be a part of their COMMUNITY STABILIZATION/CRISIS/IIH/ Mobile Crisis team.
Job Description:
Qualified Mental Health Professionals provide counseling in the home and community for their client(s) providing individual, family & Crisis counseling and provides training and skill building for adults/children with mental illness and emotional disturbances who struggle with independence and activities of daily living.
Quality Mental Health Professional will provide Community Stabilization Crisis Counseling and Mobile Crisis Counseling to adults & Children.
Professionals will have to work a minimum of 20 hours per week with 2 clients (part-time) & 40 hours per week with 4 clients (full-time).
Requirements:
- Clinical counseling experience working with children for at least 1 years.
- Master’s Degree preferred (Bachelor's acceptable) in Counseling, Special Education, Human Service or Social Work.
- QMHP-A/C credential granted by the State of Virginia.
- Experience writing clinical counseling notes & reports.
- Able to commit to bi-weekly supervision & additional professional trainings.
