Description: Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow, a leading community Mental Health provider in Richmond, VA, is seeking qualified candidates for the role of QMHP-A or T in our 23 hour-observation program, Community Stabilization, and MHSB. This position focuses on delivering coordination of psychiatric assessment, including medication management, medical examination, food pantries, community resources, and individual and group counseling. Candidates may also have opportunities to work in Mental Health Skill-Building or Crisis Stabilization programs.
Mental Health Skill Building Counselor (QMHP-A)
Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow is a community Mental Health provider for youth and adults in the Richmond, VA area. We are currently hiring QMHP-A candidates for the Mental Health Skill-Building Program. This position provides training and supportive counseling to adults with serious mental illness. Services can be provided on a part-time or full-time basis. Position may also be combined with other hourly work in Intensive In-Home or Crisis Stabilization programs. A QMHP-A registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling is required for this position. Assessments will be conducted, ISP development with program participants, documentation of daily notes, and coordination of case management services if applicable.
Mobile Crisis Response/ 23HR- Observation/ Community Stabilization (QMHP- T, A, or C)
Opportunities for A Better Tomorrow is a community Mental Health provider for youth and adults in the Richmond, VA area. We are currently hiring QMHP-T, A, or C candidates for the MCR, 23hr and CS program. This program provides Service to individuals suffering from acute psychiatric concern. You will be responsible for getting the client connected to coordination of psychiatric assessment, including medication management, medical examination, food pantries, community resources, and individual and group counseling, . Assessments will be conducted, ISP development with program participants, documentation of daily notes, and coordination of case management services if applicable.
