Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct clinical services to include individual, family, parenting, group counseling and/or substance abuse treatment in the home and community (Telehealth may be an option).

• Assessment of Mental Health issues to incorporate effective treatment strategies

• Treatment planning to include the development of treatment goals, objectives, and interventions

• Consultation and coordination of service with community professionals to include but not limited to lawyers, case managers, and doctors.

• Provide advocacy work with schools, courts, and other social service agencies.

• Attend individual and group supervisions

• Completion of clinical documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in related field of psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, human services or special education and 1-4 years of Mental Health experience with children/adolescents. Stated degree and one-year experience will be considered.

• Registered or eligible to be registered with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP-C, QMHP-A, and/or QMHP-T

• Must hold a good driving record, current driver's license, and current auto insurance policy

• Reliable transportation

• Pass criminal background check
