Position Overview
We’re hiring a QMHP-C (or QMHP-T) who can help us more effectively accomplish our mission as a company. That mission is focused on providing care and understanding to our clients, helping them grow independently through compassion, collaboration and communication. We help children who are struggling with Mental Health diagnosis' and behaviors that have made a negative impact on their home, social and school environments. We want to create a world where children with Mental Health diagnosis' are heard, understood and accepted. Our goal is to help our clients live better lives and be better people, all while understanding and working through their mental illness.

We are seeking a QMHP-C (or QMHP-T) to assist in home visits, building rapport and providing interventions to our clients.
Who You’ll Work With
This is an independent role that reports directly to the Supervisor. You’ll interact with the Office Manager, Clinical Director, and Executive Director.
Who We Are
We are a Mental Health agency that specializes in helping children through their mental illness through the Intensive In Home service. We offer visits within the home and provide interventions that directly relate to the behavioral, social and Mental Health issues they are having. We work with them up to 3-5 times a week and include the parent into the services so that we reach our goal of keeping the client in the home versus out of home placement.

Duties and Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be home visits in the community and create and find interventions that correspond to the client's service plan.
Other duties and responsibilities:
- Build rapport and trust with the client
- Provide interventions related to the client's ISP
- Create a schedule that fits with the client's schedule
- Write Progress notes, Quarterlies and Service plans
- Attend Bi-Weekly Meetings
- Respond in a timely manner to emails
- Come in the office weekly to sign notes, pick up papers, etc.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Candidates must have at minimum a Bachelor's of Science degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services related field.
- 1 year minimum of experience working with children
- Candidates must be registered as a Virginia QMHP-C or meet the requirements to become registered.
- Must hold a valid, current VA Driver's License and car insurance
- Able to develop and maintain Individual Service Plan
- Ability to complete Daily Progress Notes, Quarterly Reports and Discharge Summaries
- Ability to maintain a caseload of 1 to 5 clients
- Attend Supervision and Staff Meetings
- Day, Evening and possible Weekend Hours
- Other duties as required
Salary: Starting Pay $22.00
